Chesterfield County is assisting our neighborhood by providing refuse removal services on May 20th. Have items out to the curb by 7am for pickup. 

Items Accepted:

Bagged leaves

Barrels (with lids off)

Grills (no propane tanks or ashes)

Books, clothing, knick-knacks

Carpet and padding (bundled intorolls less than 6' long and 1' indiameter - maximum of one 11' x11' room per pickup)

Dishes, pots, pans

Fish tanks (bagged)

Furniture (includes sofas and chairs)

Lawn furniture

Lawnmower parts (oil and gas mustbe drained)

Rims

Small appliances and microwaves

Tables, cabinets, vanities

Toys and bicycles

Wheelbarrows without tires

Items Not Accepted:

Mattresses and box springs

A/C units and other refrigerationequipment

Refrigerators, freezers

Tires (on or off the rim)

Ashes, batteries, railroad ties

Bricks, tiles, concrete products

Construction debris, drywall, cementboard

Floor model copiers and printers

Fluorescent bulbs or tubes

Gas tanks or cans

Hazardous household waste (paints,stains, pesticides, etc.)

Medical waste

Pet waste

Pianos

Riding mowers

Rocks, stone, slate, granite, quartz,etc.

Shingles and insulation

Tree stumps, logs, firewood

TVs, computer monitors

Hold a neighborhood yard sale beforehand – One person’s junk is another’s treasure!

Check in with your elderly neighbors or neighbors with disabilities who might need help getting items to the dumpsters.

Residents with trucks, trailers, and time. Help your neighbors by assisting to haul unwanted items from their ditch to the dumpsters.
